Dude, yesterday was Summer Solstice. Of course the (northern half) of the planet is heating up.
It's been unseasonably cold until just the past few weeks here in Kentucky. I didn't put away my leg and arm warmers until the first week of June, and even then I rode one morning where I probably could have used them.
The planet is 5 friggin' billion years old and has been either warming up or cooling down the entire friggin' time. Get off your friggin' high horse about it.

@the OP: You guys can gloat again in January when your temp's in the 70s, like it is here today. Needed arm warmers and a vest on the 50 miles up and down the canyon over the weekend. Brrr.
