Sherwood1, the only suggestion I have for you is to turn the front brake cable hanger right side up. Or if you can discern the reason for it being upside down, let us know.
It's a gorgeous specimen, and nothing appears to need changing, especially since you like the way it rides. Are the gears right for your terrain and condition?
