Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

In 1979, I took half of my summer pay and bought a brand new PXN10. It was a metallic teal color. Absolutely gorgeous. It was stolen a few months later. The thieves dismantled the rack it was locked to, proving their determination. Boy, was I crushed. What a lovely bike that was. I had worked on low end Peugeots for two years by then, and I finally got to have a top of the line Peugeot. Maybe I'll find a used one and ride it. I wonder if it will ride as well as my other bikes.
