Here are the specs for the 1986 Avioraz:

Tubing: HLE
Derailleurs: Shimano Z series with stem shifters
Crankset: Nervar 2020, 40/52T
Chain: Sedisport
Pedals: Lyotard 36RC
Hubs: Maillard Helicomatic
Cogs: 13/28T, 6 speed
Rims: Rigida 1622
Tires: Challenge raised 27 x 1-1/4", 851B Schraeder
Brakes: Weinmann 610 with safety lever
Saddle: Selle Italia Anatomic
Wt: 26 lbs.

There are no specs listed for other components, such as the stem or handlebar. There are brakes cable tunnels on the top tube, 1 set of water bottle bosses, forged dropouts. Sorry, I don't have any pics for this model, just specs.

Maarten's bicycle has the livery adopted in 1984, the final year (according to specs) for Carbolite 103. However, these graphics were used until about 1988, so its only an indicator of era.

Assuming that both VtJim's and Maarten's are 1986 models, the differences are intirguing and seem to conflict with each other chronologically. Maarten's bicycle has Carbolite 103, which was the predecessor to HLE on Vtjim's bicycle, yet it has an internally routed, rear brake cable which is normally a later development over the tunnels on Vtjim's bicycle! While it's hard to tell from the pics, it also looks like Maarten's tubes have Presta valves, while the specs list Schraeder. Again, bicycles normally evolved from Schraeder to Presta. Very puzzling, to say to least!
