I think asking for a discount during the biking season is a bad idea. Like someone previously said...if you don't buy it the person standing next to you will. Just last year I was planning to purchase the Allez and they wouldnt even exempt the tax....even if i was paying in cash....i was even denied a free water bottle cage. luckily i didn't buy the damn bike because i ended up buying something used better and cheaper than the allez.
