I hit my bash twice while goofing around today. it didn't break. took a good little chip out on a big step up -really bashed it- but it's fine.

I think it's becasue someone made it out of METAL.

It's not all roses having a metal bashguard; It may be stronger, but it's lighter. Oh and it costs less so choose your poison.
