The chain is still there, too. And i'll bet at some point it'll have to be measured and replaced.
Of course you're right, but that has nothing to do with this thread.
But there's a major difference in the skills required to keep my first car @ age 16, a '49 DeSoto, running; and my modern Mercedes. Us old guys just hate to see bikes heading in the same direction.
