Our local cable channel predicted there would be major rain starting aroud 6pm. Sure enough, when I reached the 79th Street Boat Basin in Riverside Park @ 6:10, I could actually see the storm approaching over New Jersey. That must've been one hell of a tail wind I had out there (weather.com says 28mph gusting36mph) because I was able to cruise down the greenway at 18 to 20 mph with almost no effort. OK so I did get a little wet but it was definitely worth it.
