I had a smaller hole in the center of my Michelin Pro Races and decided after the flat to just put on another new tube. It was only an extra 30 miles before I had another flat on a brand new tube. What Happened? I didn't run over glass or a rock. At high speeds around 30 miles an hour, the tire will pull or stretch during accelerations, then the tube will contact the asphalt an you will get another flat. I would just throw away the tire. It is not safe at high speeds.
