It used to be that parents taught mechanical skills (usually dad but not always) with the family car. But that's becoming harder and harder as cars become more like internal combustion computers.
Over the last few years, I've done just about everything on my bike except rebuild a brifter. What kind of satisfaction will there be from changing a battery?
