The line up will change depending on the era you look at. Manufacturers are always adding new lines and deleting those that don't sell. So any listing will have to specify year to accurately track models.

When I got into cycling around 1987, Campy's line up was (top to bottom): C-Record, Croce D'Aune, Chorus, Athena, and Triomphe. (I think - it's been 20 years!)
They dropped Croce, and added Xenon and another lower end (as well as trying the MTB market, which, as I recall, didn't last). Then Record became a slant paralellogram derailler.
Also, I recall Shimano had something called Sante (which I thought was different and cool. But it didn't last either.) Dura-Ace was above that, 600 was below (which became the Ultegra level) and 105 was below that.
I was mostly into Huret back then. Their lineup at the time was: Jubilee, New Success, Rival, Rider, and Duo-par. This was before they attempted indexing (i.e. ARIS).
But the forum should be able to correct any omissions or errors in any lists that come up.
