Hi all
I rebuild bikes out of my garage. My pops runs a business with a sign up that says "looking for old bicycles" (for me).
This has resulted in way more Walmart and Kmart bikes that I ever wanted. I am trying to construct a list of good verses bad bike brands so he can know what he is buying. If I was there I would know by looking, but he's not as bike savvy. The problem I am running into concerns the Bikes mentioned in the title - some are okay and some are not. My first question is - are there a non x-mart version of these bikes still being made? Mongoose i thought used to be quality, but do they still make good ones? Diamond back is all Pacific Cycle (Huffy) now, right? and I though GT went with Diamond Back...It is all very confusing. All advice that I can pass on to him would be great. Thanks in advance.
Oh - also what is up with Iron Horse and Columbia? (Sports Authority) are they any good?
