Eat foods with low caloric content per unit weight. That will fill you up but provide less calories. Also drink lots of water - takes the edge of hunger.

I later found out that if I eat more carb (rice), I can ride longer. Now the question is, should I consume more carb and ride longer or consume less and feel hungry early. Can anyone please let me know? Thanks
Generally, when you ride, the first part of the workout burns glycogen (easy-to-burn source of energy stored in your body - provided by the rice, in this case). After this is used up, you start to metabolize fat. So what you need to do is not eat the rice and work through the wall that you hit 20-30 min into your ride - that will aid your fat-burning.
