They said they don't have the margins on the cheaper bikes like they do the higher end stuff. But if it was in really good shape, then I would agree with MyStolenBikes and say $75-$100 bucks tops.
Here is the MSRP prices of Hardrock from the Specialized web site.(link below) They list the base model for $390 but you can negotiate the price down to $350 which I did with mine.
