Sure thing. Another option is just to get on the bosque trail. Very close. Go east on montano and pass coors. After you cross the montano bridge you can turn right onto the bosque trail. The length of the complete trail is 30 miles or so. Pretty flat recreational ride. Lot of people there on the weekends though. I tend to avoid it on weekends for that reason. Going south will take you past the zoo and botanical gardens and tingley beach.
