Yesterday I removed the back wheel, and set the RD to the lowerst cog. Then I pushed the RD in toward the frame center line to slacken the cable so I could get grease the inside of the housing. The head of the cable magically slid out the little hole on the side of the brifter hood on the RHS. I didn't even know there was a hole in the brifter hood.
