The Omnium is very different - 144bcd, big fat chainring, fatter crank arms etc. This one looks like more of a run of the mill Sram/Truvativ road chainset. I see a cross version is offered too. I'm sure it would be fine, although I like square taper BBs, so I would choose something else.
