generally speaking, there are two different types of grease you will need on a bike

Bearing grase (phil wood, park tool, etc) is what you use on pedal threads, BB, headset, seatpost, etc

Then there is chain lube which you use on chains. A tube of phil should last you a good while...same w/ some chain lube
