yes to all the above. The MUP path is a bit tight in spots and you have to cross a short but slightly dicey bridge (depending upon construction status - we haven't been there in a while). It's not really a great opportunity to hammer or anything but it does give some lovely views and it's a peaceful spot. I think your idea to brown bag is a good one.

Or, just pop back over into LIC to eat afterward, as mentioned above.
