I guess I should've also mentioned that Astoria Park is much larger than Gantry Plaza. No it doesn't run very far. Part of what makes it interesting are the two Gantrys and a couple of relatively new piers that go fairly far out into the East River. I saw someone catch some nice striped bass last time I was there. Queens West is there and it's right next to Water Taxi Beach.
