As far as I remember, Lotus was a marketing company out of hicksville, long island. Really nice bikes -great quality , nice paint jobs, etc. I think that the Grand Prix sold for $225 or so, retail. That blue Elcair touring bike was beautifully built and a great choice for touring. Someone actually thought this one out before they manufactured it.
