I really would like to know too, and I own one!

I taped a string running straight along the center of the head-tube to the floor. I then measured from the string to the center of the axle. I came close to 45mm. I could be measuring it totally wrong/my string could be off. The axle to crown is 390 as I measure it.

I had a Steamroller fork on for a while, and it had negative effects on the steering, and brought the front wheel MUCH closer to the downtube. The Steamroller lists as 38mm rake, 375 axle to crown.

I have a Kona Project 2 on the way, and I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it works, as I cant seem to find any rake listing for that fork, but have seen 390 as the a to c.

P.S. theres nothing wrong with the stock fork, cept' that 47-57mm reach calipers will never give me the clearance I'm looking for. (FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT tires. Studded tires.) I'm just going to run a brake mullet and have a cross fork up front.

Of note is that when the rear wheel is near the front of the trackends it takes a 47-57mm reach brake. when its in the back half of the track ends brake reach is 60 something mm, so I use a Tektro R556 and keep it in the back half, which gives me mega-clearance, just like a canti.

I should be getting the Kona p2 fork in the mail tomorrow and I'll eye-ball the rake side-by side. If it works out I'll post pics, and measure to the best of my ability.

Perhaps somebody can show me a diagram of a clear way to measure rake?
