This part of the stated warranty deals only with the original purchase. It is designed to make sure the bike is delivered in a fully-assembled, rideable condition, not backdoored in a box or dumped online. It does not apply to warranty situations. I suppose it could be construed that the second frame would not carry a warranty should you choose to assemble the bike yourself, but I really can't imagine a manufacturer hanging you out to dry should you have a second frame fail. They would also carry the onus of proving that an assembly mistake you made caused the failure...
