I read this thread when you started it a few days ago. Good to see you're recovering and must have been weird to see the car again.

I too am just getting into cycling like some of the others who have posted on the thread. Starting to realize more and more how motorists do not like to acknowledge cyclists.

Going down hills at 35-40 mph, they still like to pass and almost clip your drops with their mirrors...it's rather unsettling.
