That's why you go to a doctor and a chiropractor and take all the necessary precautions.

The fact is, if after you see all the doctors and bike mechanics and whatnot you need, you'd be a jerk to deny the guy the chance to pay the final bill out of pocket. It shouldn't matter to you whether the money comes from his insurance company (who will subsequently make him pay 10 times the amount in increased fees and penalties) or the guys rainy day fund.
