Yes, the R600 should work fine with your set up, as would any other 9sp triple shimano STI like Tiagra. For what it's worth, I put R600 doubles on my wife's bike to utilize the shims for a shorter reach to the brake lever and she loves them. They seem to work much differently than my 9sp DA.
