here's what i did with the improvised rear light adapter on my boardwalk. i basically went to home depot and bought a strip of metal with holes in it. i think this is use as a support on the roofings or decks. then i just cut to size and as you can see from the pics it's just a simple bend here and there. let me know if it's clear.
