Oh, I'm veteran of an open reduction foot surgery for a compound fracture , two knee surgeries, a shouder surgery, and three back surgeries, one of which included a hip cut for some spare bone and an abdomional surgery to place some titanium bits and pieces. At 46 yrs of age I have knee that was declared a future replacement candidate 8 years ago. Oddly, it's currently my "good knee" lol.
I've spent more time in PT than I can ever begin to count, and I learned the lesson of listening and following directions a long time ago
At least we have knee replacement now, when I think that my grandfather, ended up in a wheelchair because of arthritic knees, and my mother was headed the same way until she had knee replacement a few years ago and now walks unaided, I am thankful that we have the technology now to do such things.
