Bikes: Centurion Ironman Master

ironman master

I am new to this, have never posted anywhere so I hope this is ok. I really like this thread. It is very informative. I bought my Ironman master at a swap meet in San Diego for $20.00. (It was cool because I had originally bought this excact same model 20 yrs ago brand new in upstate New York. Unfortunately i had to sell my original one yrs ago.) It came with all the original parts except for Dave Scott Tri handlebars. I have rebuilt most of the bike with a 9spd drivetrain. I thought of repainting the frame, but instead I just touched up the scratches a nicks and kept the paint white/smoke purple. I think it looks cool with the newer parts. I have just gotten back into riding after 15yrs off. I love riding this bike. It is stable and comfortable and a joy to ride. I have ridden a friends '04 Trek 5500 and it rides very comparable to it. I will post pics once I figure out how to!
