Since it was my first time I spent more time than desirable shifting gear and clothing around to get comfortable (I refuse to divulge how long it took me, until I can do it in a more respectable time). I think I have more tinkering to do to find a good set of clothing, but other than cold toes things went pretty well.
I'll have to see how the trip home goes when things should be a little more uphill.
Good for you! As a fellow Maryland commuter, I hugely appreciate the difference between our crazy crowded roads and our tranquil scenic multi-use trails
