McD's sells quarts of Coke now? What are they doing, getting into an arms race with movie theaters?

I remember getting a big cup of Mt Dew at a truck stop that was so huge that, when I put it on the roof of my Civic, it made the car look even smaller. It was so wide that it didn't fit into any cupholder -- but it was so stable that it sat on the floor without risk of tipping over.
