Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

SPD cleat mounting plates that come with Shimano shoes are removable and reversable. They also have two sets of mounting holes. Remove the insole and peel back or cut away any seals over the cleat plate area and see if the plate can be removed and replaced or just turned end-for-end to use new holes.

Any bike dealer should have replacement mounting plates, for low cost or even free.
