Yeah, I'm just not convinced it's any super advanced idea. I would appreciate it on a wheel that's built that way, but I wouldn't go out looking for other rims that are 23mm wide while neglecting the other factors that make a good wheel. I also put less stock on what a manufacturer says about their own product than what people not endorsed by the company have to say.
