I don't know much about Leppers, but I have a V/O swallow imitation that is stretching. It's also sagging in front of the cantle plate so my butt bones are not supported by the leather, but by the cantle plate.

I have heard that real Brooks Swallows stretch a lot (Swifts, too!), and if you look at most of the used ones on Ebay, it appears to be true. But I haven't heard that they collapse at the cantle plate.

I'm not interested in another V/O or Cardiff. I might do a Person B17 clone, but not a V/O or Cardiff.

Velo, stick with Brooks. B17s on Ebay range from $80 to around $100, and for that price you can get a B17 Standard from Wallingford Bike with a 6 month money back satisfaction guarantee, in addition to the factory warrantee, plus get good phone support for setting the saddle up. The few bucks of cost savings is not worth it.
