I'm on recovery week, but it's not living up to its name! I was in agony on yesterday's ride. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is no muscle soreness and 10 is pain equivalent to a broken femur, the pain rated at about 6. I've never felt anything like it, ever. Better this morning tho.
There's a 40km training ride starting at the roundabout at Shelley Beach at 5am tomorrow, might check that out.
Saturday I'm tossing up between Akuna Bay boot camp and the local coffee ride + a few hours of general stuff. Leaning towards Akuna Bay for a bit of a workout.
Sunday cruise to Ourimbah, race, cruise home.
