It'll most likely feel different because it's a different bike, more so than being 2cm smaller all over.

The only thing that has seldom bothered me with slightly smaller bikes is that long stems (13 or 14cm) sometimes make the bike feel odd when riding off the saddle, perhaps coz too much weight goes forward, I dunno.
