Of course not, but I don't think the comparison is an apt one. The swastika is a symbol particular to a specific, white supremacist ideology. The hammer and sickle was Russia's symbol of the proletariat/working class since the beginning of the 20th century, long before Stalin took over and turned the country into a nightmare. Yes, it represented communism, but it did not specifically represent despotism and totalitarianism.

That said, it'd be hard to wear it and have to constantly explain all of that, and I certainly understand all of the negative connotations, however inaccurate some of them might be.

Regardless, I mainly just find it kind of an interesting take on retro jerseys.
