st3 - welcome to Bike Forums.... I'm not in West LA, hopefully others will chime in but I did notice a difficult time finding bike shops that sell USED bikes to be a challenge where I live --- Riverside. When I lived in Huntington Beach, there was one store - Play it Again Sports that sold used bikes. Are there any of these stores in your area?
