I ride on very few roads that get paid for with the federal highway fund. Many road projects get paid for out of the general fund anyway, the gas tax isn't high enough and pols are afraid to raise it. This subject comes up fairly frequently, amuses me to tell people that I
am paying taxes for the roads I ride on.
