I´m planning a tour including Alaska, so it´s great to read about your touring. I´m thinking of buying new bags, and I see you are using the brand, Arkel. I´m very close to buy Arkel´s, but I read your "day 76". Is the quality of the alu-hooks that bad - after only 76 days of ride? What about the alu-rail, was that ok?

But anyway your description of the service from Arkel sounds fantastic.
