the perfect loop for you would be up in yorba linda... there are two kick arse hills up there (hidden hills and camino de bryant) long enough and really steep climbs... really good workout if you're pressed for time... the two hills are connected by la palma which also runs parallel to the santa ana river trail.... an up and down both those hills and la palma is probably around 10 miles and youll get near 1500 ft..
