I figured out how to time my 2 minute V02s in the early morning dark.

I've got a few hardcore darkstep tracks that I've cut into 2:05 pieces. Hit play. JUMP! Then continue until the track ends. No need to look at my timer - even if I could.

20min warmup
6x2min Vo2s, 2min rest
30min tempo (loop back to start)
6x2min Vo2s, 2min rest
Ride home.
