Another one I witnessed happened a few months ago on a club ride. The group was proceeding single file down a narrow bike path when I noticed a kamakazi squirrel dart across right in front of a rider about 4 bikes up. I thought to myself "lucky squirrel" until the darned thing did an immediate about face and headed back onto the path, only to be scrunched by the guy in front of me. Big yuck factor too.
