The wife and I were over in Winthrop earlier this week. We did a ride from Winthrop up to Washington Pass and back. We left early and got to the pass around 11:30. Nice and cool up there. Turned around and rode down...as we were getting near Winthrop I looked down at the temperature on my cycle computer and this is what I saw

Of course, the sun had been baking it which inflated the temp reading, but man was it HOT. We stopped for well-deserved ice cream in town
