i hear you gotta use it pulling up and often people only get enough tension if they zip-tie it ot the frame...

BUT.... if you have horizontal or semi-horizontal dropouts i think your better off f-ing with the chain till you get it so you can run no tensioner than spending 35 bucks or more on a tensioner you wont want anyway once you get your chain issues straightened out....
