I am looking at doing a round trip down the Silver Comet & Chief Ladiga Trails. I will be starting in Atlanta. My question is does any one have any suggestions for where to stay overnight? I was thinking about Rockmart, GA and Anniston, AL.

I would perfer camping over hotel/motel/b&b.

I didn't find anything near the Chief Ladiga Trail without adding too many miles.

I did find the Rock campground in Rockmart.

I did notice Coleman Lake in Taladaga National Forest. If I went this way I would head south just east of Piedmont.
