The pawn shop has a good rep, and their story was the pawners(they call them clients) girlfreind got him the bike in NYC and brought it up here to him. But it was way to big. She(The bike not the girlfreind) appears to have been around, way around. The parts that were on it were seriously beat. It had the oldest set of tubulars that still held air I have ever seen. They only took about two days of riding before failing on our customer, he was running the wheels on the Trek we got him.

This kind of stuff is around, the hard part is finding someone that has it and does not want a load of cash for it. Like I was looking for a fixable frame for my wife, and found a Bob Jackson road frame and fork, in 46. No parts and scratched up from twenty yeaars of riding, $675, I can almost get an IF made for that. So she is still waiting
