All those pros doping just proves how much stronger this sport is than all of us, they just need drugs to cope.

But the bottom line is if you love to bike you shouldn't let pros destroy it for you. You know good and well that most group riders are clean, and it usually is the guy who puts the time in and is willing to suffer, who will prevail.
Again, there is not sport that money hasn't screwed up.
