Get the womens 820. It will work perfect for what you want and if you do get an oppurtunity to get off road and see if you like mountain biking it will handle it decently enough. If you purchase the 820 your only concern will be securing it as it is more than capable of meeting your needs nicely while staying pretty close to your price range.
