It's looking like a new rear wheel as my redishing of the old isn't going as well as I'd hoped. Can anyone help to spec out a combo of rim, hub, and spokes? My only criteria are:

- Inexpensive but not total crap
- Rim width on the narrow side for a MTB (currently have 1" inside width which is fine)

I can find parts fine, but I don't know enough about why I should want a $100 rim vs a $17 rim (same for hub, spokes) or what to look for in a hub. Would this combo be ok:

Rim
Spokes
Nips

Not sure about a hub. Measured 127mm rear spacing, have a 16t freewheel, and current wheel is 36-hole.
